RGU-IIIT, Basar 

Basar, abode to Gnana Saraswati, located on bank of holy river Godavari, is nearer to Nizamabad city that comes under Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh. Here is located the ancient temple of Gnana Sarasvati - the Goddess of Knowledge. It is believed to be one of the two oldest temples of Goddess Saraswati in India, the other being located in Kashmir.

'Akshara Gnana' is a special ritual at Basar, in which devotees bring their children to the temple. The significance of the ritual lies in the fact that it marks the formal starting of child's education. The Goddess answers all the prayers of the committed devotees, filling their life with bliss and happiness.


RGU-IIIT, Nuzvid 

Nuzvid is a historical fort city in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded by late Meka Basavarayudu, the chieftain of Rani Rudrama Devi of Orugallu dynasty.

Nuzvid (also called Nujiveedu) is 50 km from Vijayawada and 35 km from Eluru. This place is well connected by bus and rail. Nuzvid is well known for its mangos, which are exported world wide. In Andhra history, the first mutiny was held by Nuzvidians against French colonials. Nuzvid soil cultivated rich history, culture and heritage.

HOW TO APPLY; 
Applications are through online, by either of the following two modes.

Candidates may apply online from RGUKT website by payment of Rs..../- as registration fee through a crossed DD from any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favor of The Registrar, RGUKT, and payable at Hyderabad. 

APOnline: Candidates can also apply through APOnline services by paying a registration fee of Rs .../- and service charges of Rs ../- per application to the APOnline service centre. 

In both cases, a print copy of the submitted application along with original DD/APOnline receipt, and copies of the certificates should be sent to The Registrar, RGUKT by registered post.


Note: A deprivation score, weightage of 4% in terms of percentage of marks, will be added to the tenth class marks of an applicant from Government Schools including the Zillaparishad and Municipal Schools, for admission as per the Govt. Lr. No.7917/EC.2/2011-3, dated 05.07.2011.
